Testing
Testing to determine whether the guidelines and accompanying research presented a convincing case for adaptation and if researchers could envision multiple use cases for M.A.S.T.
Participants in Testing Sessions
We tested with a total of five participants:
- 4 NASA Human Research Program (HRP) researchers
- 1 former flight controller
During these sessions, we showcased the five task qualities as well as information about our guidelines.
We got feedback initially about the task qualities (either along or in relation to one of our tasks) and then presented M.A.S.T.. We received both general, overarching feedback on the manual as well as specific feedback on some of the guidelines themselves. We then compiled this feedback together and utilized it to inform the presentation of the manual. On the next page, there are some findings we gathered to showcase how we implemented the changes to M.A.S.T. and to our tasks.
